Tourist attractions near Ramni village:
This village lies on the way to Lard Karzan road. You can relish the spectacle view of gigantic Trishuli, Nanda Devi, Nandaghunti, Chaukhamba peaks.

There is so many hot tourist spots near Ramni village like Saptkund, Simbe, Baguwabasa, Bheti, Punar Bugyal, Ghora pahad, kaliyugad, Niladi, Aali, Bedani Bugyal and more. The trek to kuwari/Kuari pass also starts from here.
Ramni from a distant view
A village named Wan Kanol which comes before Kuari pass is also a base camp for Roopkund trek. Many foreigners visit this place every year. Famous Saptkund lake which is situated on the foothill of Nandaghunti peak is 32kms from here. You can also travel to Dugdh kundi and Sagalpuri tal from here.
Ramni also has a famous Shiva temple.

Located at an astonishing height of 2700 meters from sea level, Ramni village is cradled in the lap of Nandakini valley of Chamoli district in Uttarakhand.

Wonderful article by Mr. M. Bhandari and great photos of Ramni by Mr. M. Negi. My friend Sheelraj Bhalla and I visited Ramni in 1958 on a trek from Gwaldam to Gohna Tal (which was a lake back then). Villagers were very kind, allowed us to sleep overnight in the schoolhouse. Ramni seems more modern and much bigger now than it was in 1958, but still seems as beautiful, with stunning views of Nanda Ghunti and Trisul to E and Nandakini valley below.
