Valley of Flowers is arguably one of the most beautiful places in India which is least frequented by travelers. Lush green meadows carpeted with flowers, glacial streams and dense forest on the edge of the mountains makes Valley of Flowers.

Situated in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand State, Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Reaching Valley of Flowers is not an easy task as it takes 18kms of steep climb that begins at Govind Ghat and passes through Ghangharia.

There is a wide variety of flora and fauna in Valley of Flowers and the best time to visit is August & September. If you fell in love with this heavenly place then don’t think twice, just pack your bags and go visit.
